The Ozymandias Statue Of India
Hope the title would have triggered the basic idea behind this blog. For those of you don't know about Ozymandias, its the title for two poetries of Percy Bysshe Shelley. These poems talk about this king Ozymandias whose statue lies with its head down on a deserted land. Symbolizing the way money was wasted in setting up one such statue.
Now coming to know this one would surely treat this blog, standing as yet another writing against the Statue of Unity, but I m sorry it's not. Reading articles has made me realize the best way to attract more people is by using the given title as in this nation there are more of critics than supporters. Through this blog would like to open up your mind on how the government has started its motion or wave of effective use of governmental money. Would like to start off with the most popular news of the present days. 'The Statue of Unity' such a great piece of art for which the creator should be given appraisals is now an epitome of wastage of money. I have two points to ask.'Do you want your country to be known throughout the world or let its name be hidden just as it was during the British era'. Above that, I just don't understand when the government doesn't spend money we criticize it for hiding the money, now when it is using the money to give INDIA its greatest and wonderfully built tourist spot we are the ones standing against it. This has become the mentality of the common. What do we want?? we want the government to hide its money which is as we all term it BLACK or just spend it on something which is worth? We often criticize our ruling parties for its ineffectiveness towards its work but now that we have it being effective we act repulsive or try to reduce its effectiveness. If the people or opposition with the same mentality would have been formed during the time of Shah Jahan I doubt if we have had The Dream in Marble' because the common would call it an unnecessary piece of art, the SPRING TEMPLE of China to be a great piece and Valabhai-Patel Statue a cause of wastage of the capital. I hope this blog would have changed your mindset regarding the same and would thereby request the readers to let digest this first try of the government of using the money and support it to come up with more ways of making our nation renowned throughout the world.
Please let me know your views regarding the same below in the comment section.

Surely ,moreover the statue has turned out to be a source of income for the local people around there as they have been employed in the guiding the tourists and other statue related work. It's our mentality which will shape the PMs vision of a "BETTER INDIA"!
